Deep in the Garden of England

Beautifully restored Oast and Barn offering excellent self catering accommodation.   Situated in the delightful village of Hollingbourne in a designated area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.  The village has many listed houses, three period pubs and shop.

The accommodation is set in the gardens, of a Queen Anne house, replete with specimen trees, roses, and spring fed ponds, which once belonged to the St Legers, (who gave their name to the horse race), and later to the famed Colepeppers in Queen Elizabeth's reign. In the early 1600's, The Manor and farm funded educational bequests at Oxford and Cambridge and Alms houses at nearby Harrietsham.  Twitchers, a former Oasthouse and the Barn were a vital part of the farm up to the early 1900's, and have now been fully converted to modern self catering standards.
